Why Can't I Un-Sign?

  1. The Attendances are Not Signed
  2. The Attendance is on a Voucher
  3. You Are a Co-Signer, Not the Primary Therapist
  4. Your Filters on the Un-Sign Screen are Incorrect
  5. It Was Not Your Signature

  1. To Check if the Attendances are Signed:
  • Open the list in a grid format.
  • Go to Lookup -> Enrollment Lookup

  1. The Attendance is on a Voucher
To check if the attendance is on a Voucher, go to Lookup -> Enrollment Lookup -> Enter the proper parameters -> Click "Search" -> Click "Attendances" next to the applicable enrollment -> Lookup the date in question and see if the Voucher column is filled in.
  1. If the Voucher has been submitted to the County:

  • Has the attendance on the Voucher been denied?
    1. Yes. If the attendance has been denied, you will need to submit a request to have the attendance removed from its Voucher before you will be able to un-sign. Please follow the instructions found in this Knowledge Base: http://support.cpseportal.com/kb/a87/attendance-denied-how-to-remove-delete-attendances.aspx
    2. No. If the attendances have not yet been denied, you must contact your County representative and inform them of the problem dates so they may deny them for you.
      • In some cases, if it is the entire Voucher, or you would like to redo the entire Voucher and none has been paid, you may also request they delete the Voucher itself. This will require you to re-create the entire Voucher.

  1. If the Voucher has not yet been submitted to the County:

  • Go to "Voucher Management" under "Billing".

  • Click on "Details"

  • Select any attendances you wish to remove and click "Unassign"

  • Be sure to click "Save"

  1. You Are a Co-Signer, Not the Primary Therapist
    • Only the primary therapist is able to un-sign attendances. Once the attendance has been un-signed, the co-signature will automatically be removed as well. Once the attendance has been re-signed, the co-signer may then sign again as well.

  1. Your Filters on the Un-Sign Screen are Incorrect
    • Be sure that the date parameters will contain the attendances you wish to un-sign.
    • The enrollment does not need to be selected but can narrow down the results.
    • If you work in multiple Counties or for multiple Agencies, be sure that they are selected in the drop-down.
  2. It Was Not Your Signature
    • The original therapist who performed the services must un-sign the attendances.
    • Billing Administrators may not un-sign unless they are also the therapist who performed the services.
