SARATOGA COUNTY
Q.  Are we allowed to provide teletherapy? 
A. Yes - Districts will decide which children.

Q. What services are allowed to use teletherapy?  
A.  Any services per district approval for teletherapy

Q. When can we begin providing teletherapy? 
A. As soon as the district gives you approval and consents are obtained from the parent. The parent must be made aware of the potential risks to confidential information when using electronic devices/forums.

Q. Should agencies be recording "provided" classroom attendance when they are providing distance learning education?
A. Yes, agencies should be recording "provided" classroom attendance when they are providing distance learning education.

Q. Are the reimbursement rates different? 
A. No, the service must be provided in the same duration on IEP and must not exceed the frequency on IEP.
   
Q. Will there be separate enrollments / ESIDs for the teletherapy? 
A. No, this is a continuation of service in an alternate method to provide continuity of learning,
   
Q.  Will we need to obtain parental/caregiver signatures? 
A. Yes, signature logs must be completed and parents must sign. The therapist completes the signature log as usual but can mail the logs to parents/caregiver to sign then mail them back to the therapist to send in with billing at end of the month.
