Service Cycle Calendars

Providers who use a billing cycle outside the normal 7-day week (6-day cycles/ 8-day cycles, etc.) can create a service calendar where those cycles can be utilized.

Creating a Calendar

1. To create a new cycle calendar, navigate to Attendance>> Service Cycle Calendar Maintenance
To view current calendars or create one, make sure your provider and school year are selected, and click “Retrieve”. (Please note this feature has been implemented for school years 26/27 and forward).

2. To create a calendar – Enter a name for the calendar, select the school schedule (optional), service cycle type, start date, and end date, then click “Add”. (Currently, the CPSE portal supports 6-Day and 8-Day cycles).

3. Once created, you can edit or delete the cycle calendar if needed. To view the calendar, click “Maintain Cycle”.

Maintain Cycle Calendar

The Cycle Calendar will display with alternating yellow and blue color-coded cycles.  After the calendar is created, the number of cycles for the entered session auto-populates based on the dates of the calendar.

Each calendar day has an “X” in the upper right corner to allow the calendar to be edited manually. This can indicate days when there is no service date. (school closures, snow days, conference days, etc.). If a day in the cycle is deleted, it will shift the cycle to the next available day as seen below.

The calendar can also be reset by clicking “Regenerate Calendar Days”. This will remove all manually changed dates.
