What to do if the RS Provider is incorrect or never started
When an RS provider is entered erroneously or if the child moved and never started their treatment, the provider's services need to be rescinded. And depending on the situation, may need to be entered again.

Situations to just rescind/delete:
-The child moved and won't be receiving any treatment
-The child's IEP changed and won't be receiving any treatment

Situations where you also need to reenter the service with a new provider:
-The child changes provider
-Provider was entered wrong

[If the placement has not been submitted yet]
1. Go to the eSTACs student details page of the Portal, select the "IEP Placements" tab, and click "Edit" next to the placement the RS is in.

(Complete Step 2 if the child will receive the same service under a new provider, otherwise, skip this step)
2. In the placement details page, under the "Related Services" tab, click "Delete" to delete the service with the wrong provider.
Then, enter the same service with the new provider, and click "Add"

(Complete Step 2 if the child will receive the same service under a new provider, otherwise, skip this step)
2. In the placement details page, under the "Related Services" tab, click "Rescind" to rescind the service with the wrong provider.
Then, enter the same service with the new provider, and click "Add"

IMPORTANT: You must sign and submit this placement again to submit your changes.
