How to check if I can match my unmatched children and enrollments

After you create your unmatched children and enrollments, it is helpful to check regularly to see if the county has uploaded their official enrollments for you to match. Or, if you've been notified that your enrollments are ready, but nothing is coming up as potential matches, this guide is also for you.

There are two important reports that you can use to help determine why your unmatched enrollments aren't matching.

Enrollment Lookup
You can access this through "Lookup" -> "Enrollment Lookup".  It will look like this:
This report will show you all of your enrollments from the county, plus your unmatched enrollments. County enrollments will have an ESID in the ESID column, and unmatched enrollments will show "UnMatched" under the Status column.
-If you only see your unmatched children show up only once in this report, meaning there isn't another enrollment for that child with an ESID, then it means their official enrollment isn't available yet, so you can't match them.
-A very common problem you can run into is not spelling the children's name exactly as the county spelled it. Children's names need to be an exact match for you to match unmatched children. This report can show you how you spelled the name versus how the county spelled the name. For example, like "Mary-Ann" and "Mary Ann", or "O'Relly" and "O Relly". If you see a spelling difference, you would need to correct the spelling on your unmatched child to match them. (Editing an Unmatched Child - CPSEPortal.)
-The same rule applies for DOBs, which you can see what you entered, and what the county entered, on this report.

Submitted Placements
You only need to look at this report if the unmatched child you're checking is in one of our eSTACs counties (counties where districts submit services electronically through the Portal). If you aren't sure if a county is an eSTACs county, feel free to ask us or the county.
You can access this through "eSTACs" -> "Reports" -> "Submitted Placements". It will look like this:
The main use for this report is to see what has been submitted by the district and what has not been processed by the county.
If you don't see your unmatched child here, it means the district has not entered their service into the Portal. If you see your child here, but the "ESID" column has no numbers, then it means the county has yet to finish processing the district's submission. If the ESID column is filled in, it means that enrollment is available for you to match.
